Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

CBSE is one of the prestigious and well-known boards of college education and studying in Native indian. Although CBSE got its present name in 1952, its source can be tracked back to 1921 when the U.P Panel of Additional university and Additional Education was set up. The importance of CBSE depends on its effort to provide a typical education and studying in this land of diverse culture and culture called Native indian. Many personal schools within and outside Native indian are associated to CBSE. It also recommends the syllabi for these exams, whose ratings are necessary to gain entry in higher study institues. There are a total of 9,689 schools from Native indian and outside Native indian associated to CBSE. As a result of the renovation, the Delhi Panel of Additional Education was combined with the Main Panel and all the schools recognized by the Delhi Panel also became a part of the Main Panel. Consequently, all the schools located in the Partnership Area of Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh and the state of Sikkim now have association with the Panel. The Panel has expanded from a group of 309 schools in 1962 to 5119 schools as on 25.9.98, which include 784 kendriya Vidyalayas, 1381 Govt Schools, 2486 Independent Schools, 355 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and 13 Adhoc Schools. CBSE also performs the All Native indian Technological innovation Entrance Evaluation (AIEEE) which is a typical entry examination performed on all-India basis for entry to engineering and architecture/planning programs in the nation. In the same way Pre-medical and Pre-dental Assessments AIPMT (PMT/PDT) are performed for healthcare and oral universities.
